How Do I Get My Music Played On WFAQ?

We accept submissions in most genres and styles of music, focusing on noncommercial, out-of-the-mainstream, independent releases. It may take up to a few weeks for us to review and process the music.

Please send your music, indicating any tracks with language issues (swearing, etc.), and including one-sheet description and any biographical and tour information to WFAQ Music Director, S94W31595 Mitchell Ct., Mukwonago, WI 53149 and/or to musicdirector@wfaq.com. Currently we still prefer CDs to digital submissions because it’s the quickest way to get it into the hands of our programmers and onto the airwaves, though we do have a growing digital library. Digital submissions should be .wav or other lossless files, or high quality mp3s [128-320 kbps.]

Local (Mukwonago-Area) Student Submissions

We're kicking-off a program to help feature locally-produced on-air materials.
What we have in mind are a couple of things:
* Music Reviewer. A student would select a piece of music played over the air (a day's history of what was played when is available online), and compose a Music Review. This would then be either:
- Read over the air by us, or
- Recorded by the student herself and broadcast over the air.
* Submit Live (recorded) Music
* Submit audio material by producing a recording of:
- Selected music with commentary ("DJ")
- A radio play
- Comedy
- An Editorial
- Fake Ad
- A simple station ID
Again- direct materials or questions to: musicdirector@wfaq.com.

Thanks! & we look forward to hearing from you!
